Mg. Eng. Higinio Facchini

Higinio Facchini graduated as an Electronics Engineer from the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional – Facultad Regional Mendoza (Mendoza, Argentina), and as a Network Security Specialist, from the Universidad Nacional de La Plata – Facultad de Informatica (Buenos Aires, Argentina). Then, a Master's in Data Networks from the Universidad Nacional de La Plata – Facultad de Informatica (Buenos Aires, Argentina).

He is currently Director of the Area of ​​Traffic Analysis and Security in Data Networks at CeReCoN (Regional Center for Research and Development in Computing and Neuroengineering) of the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional(UTN), and a member of GIDECo (Regional Group for Research and Development in Knowledge Ecosystems) of the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional. He is a Member of the Academic Committee of the Master's and Specialization in Data Networks, in the distance modality. He is the Technical Coordinator and Instructor of the CISCO Local Academy of the UTN Mendoza.

He is a category B teacher-researcher at the UTN, and category V at the Ministry of Education of Argentina. His main lines of research are Data Networks, and Traffic Analysis of Wired and Wireless Networks. In addition, he has specialized in Cybersecurity and IoT.

He has participated in conferences and published in national and international peer-reviewed journals. He has publications of technical books.

As an undergraduate and postgraduate university professor, he has specialized in distance education, using planning techniques with instructional design, and the development of mediated content. Her usual work platform is Moodle.
